Jade was a four year letter winner in baseball and a three year letter winner in football at Oak Grove. Jade was a member of a fourth place team his sophomore year in baseball. Also, he was member of a state semi-finalist football team his senior year of high school. After graduation, Jade attended Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri.
While attending MVC Jade was a student assistant coach in the football program, who won the Heart of America Conference championship and competed in the playoffs in 1999. He began his baseball coaching career that same year as a volunteer assistant coach at Odessa High School, where he was responsible for outfield play and hitting. After graduation, Jade was a teacher in the Cameron School District for one school year, where he taught Social Studies and coached baseball and football. The following year he taught in the Wellington-Napoleon School District. Jade was the at-risk coordinator, coached Junior High football and was the assistant baseball coach. The following three years he was a teacher and coach in the Belton School District. While at Belton he taught social studies in the Freshman Center and coached Junior High Football. Jade also was the freshman and Junior Varsity baseball coach.
In 2006, Jade became a teacher and coach in the Harrisonville School District, where he is presently the head varsity baseball coach. In 2008, the baseball team reached the state quarterfinals for the first time in school history. Three of Samborski’s players went on to play college baseball. The 2009 season saw the baseball program continue to reach new heights. It reached the Final Four for the first time in school history, finishing third. The team broke multiple records, including the most wins in program history with 24. From that team, three players are continuing their baseball careers at the college level. To date Jade has coached multiple players who have went on to play at the collegiate level. Eight of which played for him at Harrisonville.
Jade has been a member of the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association for 11 years. As a member, he has coached in the Senior All Star Series and in 2010 will be on the coaching staff of the Junior Sunbelt team. He has also participated in the selection of all-state teams and senior all stars. Jade is also a member of the National Baseball Coaches Association and American Baseball Coaches Association.
In 2002 Jade married Brandi Jo Harlen.
Jade and Brandi presently live in Liberty, MO. They have 1 child – Ava (6).
