Rusty grew up playing in the Kansas City 3 & 2 Baseball program, for 8 years, making the All Star Team each of those years. Rusty earned 6 Varsity letters in Football & Wrestling in high school, leading the football team to the conference championship his senior season. Rusty also played in the Kansas City Casey Stengel & Ban Johnson Leagues for 2 years before attending college.

After losing his Scholarship at the University of Missouri, due to injury, and subsequently ending his baseball playing days. Rusty concentrated his efforts on graduating, having to work his way through college by himself due to the untimely death of his mother during his Freshman year at Missouri.

Upon graduation from college in 1976, Rusty received an appointment to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Although he later decided to leave the Criminal Justice System, to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities, his 2 year tenure with the FBI has proved to be very rewarding. He credits the time spent with the FBI as an integral part of helping prepare him with the disciplines necessary to live his life & and enjoy his successes in business as the President of (3) companies; Electronic Technology Systems, Associated Technology, Inc, and most recently, P&R Associates, Inc, over the last 30 years.

Rusty has coached Little League competitive baseball, competitive soccer, and continues to impact the lives of youngsters through his continued affiliation with Boy Scouts of America, being an Eagle Scout himself.

Rusty’s professional experience and demeanor in Marketing, Sales, and “relationship building” is a tremendous asset to Midwest Sports Advisors. He brings his excitement of helping Student Athletes continue their high school careers into college, direction & leadership as it relates to the continued growth of MSA in broadening the sports programs and opportunities we represent for student athletes.

Finally, his “love of the game” and his pursuit of excellence in helping our clients separate themselves in an extraordinary manner, is something we feel very fortunate to have as a part of Midwest Sports Advisors.
