 Stephanie Lusardi - Women's Soccer

Stephanie attended Blue Springs South High from 1999- 2003 were she started varsity soccer as a freshman and lettered all 4 years. In 2002 she was given the Athlete Integrity Award as one of the top 20 athletes in the Kansas City Area. She was chosen All-District player her sophomore year and was one of the top defensive midfielders in the Suburban Big Eight. She was an all conference player 2001, 2002, 2003 along with team captain and MVP her senior year. Stephanie went on to play college soccer at Southwest Baptist University on scholarship from 2003 -2007. Her first 2 seasons at Southwest Baptist her team had the toughest schedule in the nation based on strength of play, playing several top ten teams in the nation both her freshman and sophomore year. She was voted the most improved player her sophomore year. Southwest Baptist was nationally ranked in the top 25, 3 out of her 4 years. As a Senior Stephanie started every game helping lead her team to an 8th ranked defense in the nation with an astonishing 10 shutouts and was an all conference player. She graduated with a degree in Sports Management.

Growing up around sports, Stephanie always had the passion to work in the sports business somehow some way. In the summer of 2005 Stephanie was the Sports Information Director for Fellowship of Christian Athletes Grays. (Baseball team). In the summer of 2006 she worked as a camp registrar for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, traveling all over the United States to register kids for sports camps. Again, in the summer of 2008 Stephanie became the Assistant General Manager of the Mac-N-Seitz Athletics (Baseball team). Most recently summer of 2009 she organized baseball camps for Mac-N-Seitz Athletics and soccer camps for Abundant Life Baptist Church.


In Fall of 2009 Stephanie joined Midwest Sports Advisors team (MSA), with the primary responsibility of beginning the Soccer division of MSA. “Helping High school soccer players obtain college scholarships and pursue their dream of playing college soccer. By doing this we match them with college programs that meet their athletic / academic desires and skill level.


INTERNATIONAL COMPETION: In the summer of 2004 Stephanie was chosen as 1 out of 20 girls in the United States to play for Athletes in Action soccer. Athletes in Action traveled to Sao Paulo, Brazil to represent the USA in competitive play for 1 month. She not only played nationally ranked teams in Brazil but also shared her faith with every team. She made friendships and also experienced their soccer culture and traditions.

In the Spring of 2005, Stephanie traveled with her college soccer team to London, England to compete against nationally ranked teams. They were there for 10 days and played 6 games against the toughest women's club teams in England.

In the Summer of 2006 she traveled to Puerto Rico with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Grays baseball team as the Sports Information Director.
