Anthony Spalitto is lightning fast as can be seen from his times on the left side of the page and he is "rock-solid" in the outfield. Anthonys first step and speed will allow him to get ot balls many other outfielders can only hope to get to. He gets a tremendous jump on the ball as a result of good reads off the bat, excellent drop step and direct path to the ball. Anthony is an aggressive player with very solid outfield mechanics. His arm is good and strong and his ball carries well because of proper throwing technique. As a hitter it's more of the same, Strong, Aggressive and attacks the ball. His grip is excellent, balance very good and works through the ball extremely well. Anthony is a sloid contact hitter with a great "sense" in the batters box. His speed requires defenses to take a diferent approach and play at shorter play depth. Anthony is an excellent candidate to hit at the top of the order. He is tough and tenatious and will help any team. He is a good student and attends one of the most prestegious High Schools in the Midwest Region.
