 Evaluators: Mike Lusardi, Mike Macfarlane

David Kepus is an excellent athlete with a bright future in baseball. David's natural positions appear to be third base but, because of his athletic ability he could easily transition to the outfield and be just as effective. David is a proto-typical thrid baseman, he is big strong and has a very good arm.  He is a very solid third baseman with soft hands, good quickness, fast release and very good range into the 6 hole. His fielding mechanics are strong and his mental make-up is exceptional for a young player. His speed (above average for a big corner guy), will allow him to get to balls that might otherwise go through the hole for hits. David also has a strong arm that will continue to get stronger with age and maturity. He is a very hard worker and posseses the tools to play at a very high level. as a hitter, he will be one of the best in the area by the time he is a senior. He will hit for power and average. His ability combined with his work ethic will propell him to the top of the hitter lists of area High School prospects. His mechanics are strong, he stays inside the ball extremely well for a young hitter. David is an excellent High School  prospect with high moral character. He will be the hardest worker in virtually any college program! Coach Jim DeGraw of Rockhurst High School in Kansas City will have a very productive hitter in his line-up for the next couple of years.
