Jonathan Jones is one of those proto-typical lefties that you just sit back, watch and enjoy! he is smooth and smart and will be a very good pitcher in college. He is very athletic / fast for a big man and his work ethic is only surpassed by his coachability. Jonathan receives MSA's highest grades as a recruitable pitching prospect and is projected to do very well in college. As a smooth Left handed pitcher, he is poised and confident with an excellent speed variation between his low to mid- 80's fastball and his off-speed pitches. His command is excellent and with a few seasons of growth, Jonathan could be an absolutely dominant pitcher. His delivery and balance are acceptional as well as is his mental approach to the game. Jonathan has an awesome opportunity to play baseball for many years to come. Presently, we would project Jonathan as a pitcher first and a position player second - although, that could switch at any time because of his giftedness. It won't be very long before Jonathan is dominating games from the mound.  Jonathan is a young man of high character and he is an excellent student!
