Jonathan is a very strong prospect who has shown a dominant presence since stepping on the field his Freshman year. After being promoted to varsity during his Freshman season, Jonathan was Oak Park's #1 starter during the 2011 spring season. He has a great frame (6'2", 200 lbs.) with long arms and big hands provide some intangibles as he continues to grow. Consistently in the mid-80's, Jonathan's velocity has continued to climb as his mechanics and arm strength have improved. He has a long, loose delivery that allows him to throw three pitches for strikes (FB, CB, CH). His focus on the mound is to add more velocity and command both sides of the plate. Jonathan is a gifted athlete with above average hands and feet.
