 Evaluators: Rob Jackson, Mike Lusardi

Josh Griffith is a remarkable athlete with the potential to be a big time player. He can play any infield position because of his quickness and his athletic ability.  We would project Josh to settle in at one of the infield corner positions in the near future.  He is a smart player with great hands and feet and reads the flow of a game as well as any high school player we have seen this season. He generally finds himself in the right place at the right time - an attrubute that every infielder needs to have.

Josh is aggressive and hard working with the ability to adjust on the fly.  He is very smooth in receiving the ball and transitions to throw extremely well. His arm is strong - which makes him a great candidate to play on the left side of the infield, (3B) for any program. As an infielder Josh consistantly scores in the above average and the excellent range. As a pitcher, Josh appears as steady as they come. He is very composed and works from great mechanical form. He will definately continue to get better as the years go on.  Josh stands tall and gets the most from his frame. Potentially, Pitching could become his strength but would prefer to play on the infield.

As a hitter, Pro Evaluator Rob Jackson, feels that Josh is a very knowledgeable hitter with the potential to be a big time college hitter. "Josh's mechanics are some of the best I've seen in a HS hitter in some time.  His hands, feet, and weight distribution are exceptional. He makes adjustments quickly - which is critical for a college hitter. He will hit for a high average and shows signs of considerable power in the future. He is smart and disciplined at the plate. has the knowledge to "work" a pitcher and is a very unselfish hitter". Josh has the potential to play at a very high level. He will be one of your hardest workers in your program. He is a great student and a very high character kid!
