Matt Lusby is a very good athlete and a leader. He is one of the schools top baseball players as well as students at Christ Prep Academy. On the field Matt takes charge. He is well respected by his temmates and friends. As a catcher - he is an extremely hard worker. He has great mechanics and accurate arm. Behind the plate he is a wall. Pass balls are always at a minimum. Pitchers throw with confidence to Matt as he calls the game. As a hitter it's more of the same. He will hit with power (to all fields) and for a high average. He is big and srtrong with fast hands. He stays back on the ball very well  - he stays inside the ball and is also very short and compact to the ball. He is swing has few flaws for a young player. Matt will play / adjust to college baseball with no problem. He is a very strong character young man that motivates all of those around him to be better. His leadership is an important quality in a young man. Matt will be exciting to watch in the years to come!
