PJ Woodward is an excellent athlete with a bright future in baseball. PJ's natural positions appear to be on the infield, Shortstop and Second for sure but, because of his athletic ability he could easily transition to the outfield and be just as effective. PJ is a very solid infielder with soft hands, good quickness, fast release and very good range up the middle. His fielding mechanics are strong and his mental make-up is exceptional for a young player. His speed will allow him to get to balls that might otherwise go through the hole for hits. PJ also has a strong arm that will continue to get stronger with age and maturity. He is a very hard worker and posseses the tools to play at a very high level. as a hitter, he will be one of the best in the area by the time he is a senior. His ability combined with his work ethic will propell him to the top of the average lists of area High School prospects. He will be a gap to gap hitter with occasional power. His mechanics are strong, he stays inside the ball extremely well for a High School hitter. PJ is an excellent High School prospect with high moral character. He will be the hardest worker in virtually any college program!!!!!!
