 Evaluators: Mike Macfarlane, Mike Lusardi

Ryan Colombo is one of the future stars for Coach Steve Bushnell at Seaman High School in Topeka, KS. Ryan will be one of the reasons that Seaman will be a top contender for years to come. He is big and strong (and still growing) and can play just about any position on the field. For a young player, he has a great understanding of the game - one that will allow him to play at the varsity level immediately. He also is one of the hardest workers in the MSA stable of players. What ever position Ryan plays he seems to shine. As an infielder Ryan has very good hands - he receives the ball well and has a strong accurate arm on his throws. His hands are soft (already) and as he continues to grow into his body - the sky is the limit for this young man. As a hitter, Ryan's professional evaluator, Mike Macfarlane says this: " Ryan is beyond his years as a hitter. His understanding and approach to his at bats are second to none. He will be big and strong and will have that rare ability to to hit for a high average as well as power. He is fundamentally sound in his mechanics and his bat stays in the hit  zone for the perfect length of time. He's just going to keep getting better and better." Ryan's future is bright. He is a good student and a high character kid. We look forward to many great things from Ryan in the years to come.
