James Hanson is an exciting young player to watch. He will be a major contributer to the Lee's Summit North Bronco baseball squad for years to come. He is a exceptionally smooth hitter with a great eye for the ball. His swing mechanics are above average for a very young player. He has excellent balance, good stride to the ball, stays inside the ball very well and has a very good load. His hands work very well to the ball and his bat travels an excellent path through the zone. James will be a gap to gap hitter and will most likely hit for a high average. James has very good zone recognition - he is an excellent athlete. As an infielder, James has a very good base and excellent feet. He never seems to labor to a ball - always looks like he is gliding. His hands are fast and soft and has no trouble gathering balls to his backhand or forehand. He charges slow rollers with great authority and get rid of the ball very quickly. He is going to be a very good player - high character, good student - will be a great addition for any program in the future!
