Rob Sharemet has that desirable combination of size and speed. He is one of the fastest players in the MSA stable of quality young players and is a perfact fit for vertually any outfield position as well as having perfect size for first base. As an outfielder, Rob can flat out go get the ball. he is big, athletic and tracks flyballs very well. He has a great first step which contributes to his success as an outfielder. Truthfully, Rob is very raw and extremely teachable, which makes him a perfect player to have in virtually any program. His arm is good and the action on his thrown ball is exactly what is needed for distance and carry. Rob is very smart and is a student of the game. As a hitter Rob has the opportunity to be that "proto-typical" Left or Right field power hitter. He generates good bat speed through the zone but needs to learn to be shorter to the ball. His balance is excellent and hits from a solid base. His bat stays in the zone a very good length of time and he works inside out to the ball very well. Rob has the tendency to hit more off the front foot, which is a common hitting philosophy taught by many hitting instructors. Rob is also a very good Basketball player and a top 200M runner in the state of Kansas. As was mentioned earlier - Rob is a tremendous Student and a very high character individual. He will be a pleasure to have in any program!
