 Soccer Evaluators

Stephanie Lusardi

Stephanie attended  Blue Springs South High School from (1999-2003) where played varsity all 4 years. There she was an All-District and All-Conference player along with team captain and MVP her senior year. She went on to play at Southwest Baptist University 2003-2007. There Stephanie was named most improved player her sophomore season. Stephanie’s senior season, she helped lead the defense to 8th ranking in the nation with an astonishing 10 shutouts. She was an All-Conference player her senior year as well. Stephanie graduated in 2007 with a degree in Sports Management. Since college she has volunteer coached at Blue Springs South High School, directed and coordinated soccer camps and is currently the Soccer Director/ Senior Advisor/ Evaluator for Midwest Sports Advisors.

 


Amy Elrod

Amy Elrod is a Kansas City native who played soccer at Blue Springs South High School from 1998 - 2002. During her high school career, Elrod was all-state, all-conference and all-district. She was also named to the 2001 NSCAA All-American team. She then went on to play Division I soccer at Ohio University (2002-2005) in Athens, Ohio. During her four seasons with the Bobcats, Elrod helped the team to a Mid American Conference championship in 2004. She was also named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll for three straight years with a 3.71 GPA. Her coaching career started at her alma mater, Blue Springs South High School, as a volunteer coach from 2006-2007. She then went on to coach a U14 girls team in Blue Springs, Mo. She currently coaches and trains a competitive U16 girls team - KC Select Brazil - in Kansas City, Mo. Amy works for Fellowship of Christian Athletes as the Communications Assistant. She also joined Midwest Sports Advisors as an Evaluator in the Fall 2009.


Kayla Griffin

Kayla attended Lee’s Summit North  high School from (1998-2002). There she was on varsity all 4 years along with competing in the state tournament 3 out of her 4 years. In 1999 her team placed 3rd in state and then went on to win state in 2000. Kayla’s team made a run at the state championship again in 2002 placing 2nd. In 2002, Kayla went on to play college soccer at Southwest Baptist University. She played there for 2 years before transferring to Northwest Missouri State University. She played there for the last 2 years of her college career. Kayla graduated in 2006 with a Physical Education degree from Northwest Missouri State University. She went on to teach 8th grade Special Education at Summit Lakes Middle School in Missouri. She coached C team soccer at Lee’s Summit North High School in 2008 and 2009. Kayla is currently working on her Masters of Arts in Teaching from Webster  and also joined Midwest Sports Advisors as an Evaluator in Fall 2009.


Vanessa Toll

Vanessa attended Blue Valley Northwest  High School  from (1998-2002) where she played varsity all 4 years. She was named All-EKL all 4 years as well as first- team All–Sun from 2000-2003. In 2002 she was voted captain of her team. Vanessa went on to continue her college soccer career at Southwest Baptist University. While she was there she was named Freshman Player of the Year, first team All- Region, and first team All- American. Vanessa was also voted first team All-MIAA for the three straight years she played at Southwest Baptist University. Her last year of college she transferred to play soccer at the University of North Carolina. In 2006 and 2007 Vanessa coached  a U10 and U11 girls soccer team. She then decided to go back to school to get her degree in Secondary Math Education. She is looking to teach and coach soccer at the high school level. Vanessa became an Evaluator for Midwest Sports Advisors in the Fall 2009.
