Professional evaluator Mike Macfarlane says,"Travis has a solid approach at the plate with above average hand speed. He is a strong kid who makes adjustments very well." Travis is a left-handed 1B with tremendous footwork and soft hands. Travis also shows versatility as a player. Macfarlane stated,"Travis has a great approach in the outfield with soft hands and good carry on his throws." Travis has also shown to be an easily coachable player who is always looking for ways to make himself a more complete baseball player. Macfarlane projects Travis to be a Division 1 to high Division 2 player.
